Public Meetings

Throughout the planning process, the City provides opportunities for community members to brainstorm new possibilities for Richmond, review initial plans, and contribute to all plans from start to finish through a series of ongoing public workshops and meetings. The public engagement process includes:

• a series of community meetings
• small group discussions
• a visioning process with Richmond’s youth
• a “Planmobile” that will carry a mobile visioning workshop around the city
• ongoing discussions with neighborhoods and civic associations throughout the city
• outreach ideas and tools to help organizations and individuals engage others in the process
